Re-inventing the way we do insurance by focusing on the Internet of Things

By leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT), we want to rethink the very concept of insurance, to provide a more personalised and natively digital service. For example, we aim to make the most of connections not only to reduce risks, but to prevent them, eliminate them and reward virtuous behaviours, shifting the paradigm from "early detection" to "prevention".

In Italy today, there are 93 million connections enabled by new technologies: from the new mobility with telematics, to the smart home that can be easily managed remotely, to wearable devices that allow us to keep our health under constant surveillance. This sudden evolution also requires insurance companies to re-invent themselves, devising new ways to be there for our customers in a fast, innovative, simple and always appropriate way.
